Accounts Executive

Experience : 2 to 4 years Department: Finance & Accounting Job Summary: We are seeking an accurate, organized, and detail-oriented Account Executive (AP & AR) to oversee our daily financial transactions and ledger operations. Key Responsibilities 1. Accounts Payable (Bills Payable) • Invoice Processing: Verify, code, and enter vendor invoices, bills, and expense reports into the accounting system with accuracy.. • Three-Way Matching: Match purchase orders (POs), receiving documents, and vendor invoices to resolve price or quantity discrepancies.. • Payment Execution: Prepare and execute timely weekly/monthly payment runs via checks, ACH, wire transfers, or credit cards, ensuring available early-payment discounts are utilized.. 2. Accounts Receivable (Bills Receivable) • Invoicing: Generate and issue accurate, timely invoices and credit memos to clients based on sales orders, contracts, or billing schedules.. • Payment Application: Receive, verify, and post incoming customer payments (checks, electronic transfers, credit cards) against corresponding invoices.. • Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or customer payment issues efficiently.. 3. Reconciliation & General Ledger • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure ledger balances align with bank statements.. • Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate sub-ledgers for AP and AR and assist with general ledger postings and month-end journal entries.. Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.. • Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
