Job description

In this newly created position, you will work as a Firmware Engineer. The position is critical for sustaining development on Comcast accounts, specifically the XMF-R/H/HD product lines. The scope of work includes executing new OTDR requirement implementations and resolving critical bugs in both FPGA and firmware environments. Senior Firmware Engineer responsible for developing and testing embedded linux code for Coherent Inc. optical modules. Will work as part of a design team, including designers from other disciplines, but will be primarily responsible and owner for the software aspects of the design. Will also collaborate with other firmware engineers from the same location or other geographical locations to perform code reviews and define architectures for assigned products.
