Senior Chemist

Job Title: Senior Chemist Summary: The primary focus of the role will be to Improve the testing, incoming, in-process, Finished Goods, lab maintenance and cross functional co-ordination Responsibilities Include: • Perform regular quality testing and participate in and support all aspects of the site’s EHS, 5S and Quality Forward Look. • Co-ordinate the Quality Control laboratories including testing and release of raw materials, intermediates, and final products • Coordinate the site’s shelf-life extension • Monthly data tracking of QC lot overdue • Support to implementation of corrective actions for customer complaints and internal defects including testing • Collaborate with production, logistics, procurement, technology and EHS in the organization • Ensure adherence of internal audits requirements with respect to Quality Function • Creating SOP, Records, test method for quality control • Handling Lab related procurement (Chemical, Supplies & Spare) and External AMC / Calibration coordination with external. • Support Vendor coordination of artwork change (Carton box & Cartridge) and lab capex procurement. • Trouble shooting of instrument (GC, Instron, Titrator, HPLC, IR, and other QC instruments) and specification sheet setup in ERP Qualifications: The following are required for the role MSC Chemistry with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in the field of Quality Control in a Chemical Manufacturing Unit What We Offer: At Momentive, we value your well-being and offer competitive total rewards and development programs.
